A grant applicant must have taught for three years or more in the District prior to this year.
This year DTA is accepting grant applications from all DPS schools. Seven grants are available and only one
grant will be awarded to a particular school. Applications from teachers who have not been awarded before will be prioritized.
Schools that are operating as K-8 schools may submit a grant application at the K-5 level and a grant application at the 6-8 level.
Grants will be awarded the week of January 27, 2025
The deadline for submission of the grant proposals for the 2024 - 2025 school year is January 3rd, 2025 at 5 p.m.
The Denver Teachers’ Awards program of recognizing outstanding teachers and volunteers offers a way to honor tremendous contributions to excellence in education. This program is a way to show support and admiration for our public school teachers.
