A grant applicant must have taught for three years or more in the District prior to this year.
This year DTA is accepting grant applications from all DPS schools. Seven grants are available and only one
grant will be awarded to a particular school. Schools that are operating as K-8 schools may submit a grant
application at the K-5 level and a grant application at the 6-8 level. The applications will be evaluated and
scored and applicants will be notified by January 17, 2024
The deadline for submission of the grant proposals for the 2023 - 2024 school year is January 5th, 2024 at 3 p.m.
The Denver Teachers’ Awards program of recognizing outstanding teachers and volunteers offers a way to honor tremendous contributions to excellence in education. This program is a way to show support and admiration for our public school teachers.
